Nick has competed in the open and pro levels on horses that he has trained himself, in the Steer Wrestling, Reining, Stock horse, Dressage (intro). As well as amateur level in Calf Roping, Team Roping, Ranch Cutting, and Competitive Trail. He has trained for AQHA world champions in the hunter/jumper, APHA world champions in Pleasure, and a NCHA Hall of Fame/World Champion. As well as numerous other professionals in hunter/jumper, jumping, dressage, timed events, cutting, reining, reined cow horse. Nick has trained and started Quarter Horses, Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Gypsy Vanters, Dales Ponies, Drafts, Paints, and Appaloosas. He was worked specifically for veterinarians, and started colts that have been sold for up to $125k. Has put the first year of riding on a Reserve World Champion in the Appaloosa World Reining. He recently has designed a horse program at the ranch for neurodivergent athletes. Nick also has a background in wrestling, combat sports, cross trained with the UNLV boxing team, and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt, where he and has won a JJWL Men’s National Championship.
